PresentBook is built as a local-first app. Your gift ideas, people, and events live on your device. Cloud backup is optional and entirely in your control. We will never sell your personal data.
We collect only what's necessary to provide the service. Here's a clear breakdown:

The free version of PresentBook displays ads. Ad networks may use device identifiers (like IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android) to serve relevant ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device's privacy settings.
Premium subscribers see no ads and no ad-related data collection occurs for them.
PresentBook is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We take security seriously. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. Account passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, which is why we encourage you to use the local-first mode if you have concerns.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
